JD Pacific provides construction management services on Maui and specializes in General Construction, Design/Build, Construction Management as well as Construction Consulting. Construction Consulting includes pre-construction budgeting, value engineering, project cost analysis, project consulting, permit oversight and construction rule compliance. Our Maui based custom house and commercial builders provide these services to several Developers, Shopping Malls and Condominium Associations on the island.
As a leader in construction management services on Maui, we have many repeat and exclusive clients. Our team is unique because we value relationships and honesty along with quality and project timeliness. Their experience includes performing as the exclusive contractor for companies such as A&B Properties, Armstrong World Industries, Monsanto, General Foods and Bunge Oil.
The company is an extension of Johnson Downs Construction started in Kankakee Illinois. Greg Downs is now the president of JD Pacific. As a managing partner of Johnson Downs Constructions he ran the industrial division of the company for eleven years. As a union contractor he controlled exclusive construction contracts for Armstrong World Industries, Quaker Oats, General Foods, Monsanto, Takasago, Rohm and Haas and Bunge Oil. Other companies that he performed work for included Armour Pharmaceutical, Henkel Corporation, Sun chemical, Valspar Paint among others. As a structural engineer he created and ran the design/build division of the firm as well as the construction management services in Maui. Our custom house builders and commercial construction contractors are passionate about helping our clients.
